A Visitor Center has been opened in Marija Bistrica, where local cultural heritage and the preservation of tradition and cultural heritage will be presented and promoted. The visitor center specializes in the interpretation and education of guests, but also the local population about the importance of preserving, protecting and valorizing local traditional and cultural heritage, primarily children's wooden toys and licitars.
The visitor center with the theme of traditional crafts thus fits perfectly into the tourist offer of Krapina-Zagorje County, which is the most successful county in the continental part of Croatia in terms of the number of arrivals and overnight stays.
The Municipality of Marija Bistrica decided to open a center where visitors can see many traditional crafts that are nurtured in the Bistrica area. Therefore, the municipality decided to set up a wall multimedia kiosk with a multitude of interactive applications and content.
To deliver a quality visually impressive, and at the same time cost-effective solution of a wall multimedia kiosk that will be well noticed and accepted by the municipality and its visitors.
The solution needed to be equipped with a package of centrally managed multimedia applications and in the creative part of the project it was necessary to study the cultural heritage of children's wooden toys and licitars, develop visual content and design user interfaces.
With the application of our products: PandoPad® Manager, PandoPad® Applications and PandoPad® WALL unit, all interactive services necessary for informing and presenting content have been realized.
A modern multimedia wall kiosk dominates the space of the Visitor Center and becomes a focal point of information.
The cultural heritage of children's wooden toys and licitars has been included in the UNESCO "Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity".
Visitors have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the area, play interactive games, view various brochures, photos, etc.
In this example we see the PandoPad® eCard application through which users can select one of the offered images and send a virtual / digital postcard using the integrated e-mail system.
