Virgin Media Group was looking for a unique solution for its shops and for the shops of its partners that would enable the offer of various products, packages and services to be presented via an interactive kiosk. In addition to displaying basic information about offers and interactive content, the interactive kiosk also allows customers to communicate directly with customer support at any time via video calls.

Across the UK and Ireland, Virgin Media offers four multi-award winning services: broadband, TV, mobile and home phone. The company is known for launching the world’s first virtual mobile network, and is one of the largest home phone service providers in the UK and Ireland.
In order to present its offer to new potential customers, Virgin Media Group has opted for a modern solution that would be part of a permanent setup in its shops and through which customers could get useful information.

In order to create the applications for an interactive kiosk, it was necessary to study the current offer of mobile devices, tariff models, etc., which is then converted into high-resolution interactive content.
One PandoPad® Hook 42“ Totem was delivered to Virgin Media Group as an information point in the shop space. The totem unit consists of an interactive touchscreen that contains many applications. The screen is of the most modern technology, high brightness, and due to its characteristics, it dominates the space. Finally, a PandoPad® Manager system was delivered as a central place to manage all content.
As part of the interactive application package, visitors have the opportunity to browse various brochures, view videos, send an e-card, take a selfie, browse the social networks of Virgin Media group or even play various games such as puzzles, memory games, etc.
The unit consists of an interactive touchscreen from where applications are launched. With its unusual design, it attracts attention and calls for an interaction.
In order to make communication simpler and to answer all questions from potential clients, we have developed special software that allows direct interaction with Virgin Media Group agents. By pressing the "Get in touch" option, the user is offered four options, one of which opens a new window where the user can talk to the agent and find out additional information about the offers via video call.
Interactive content is designed through our PandoPad® Manager content management system which is easily accessed via a web browser. It is possible to enable or disable the display of individual PandoPad applications, manage their multilingual content, images, photos, videos, display schedule, etc.
This example shows a desktop application used by an agent in a call center in order to communicate with a client at any time.
The example shows the PandoPad® Outdoor Way Finder application as a geo map. From PandoPad® Manager, one enters the points of interest (POIs) on Google Maps, which will then display more detailed information about the selected point, or the path from where the PandoPad totem is located to the selected point.
