The Star Sydney hotel in Sydney offers its guests five-star luxury accommodation, the city’s best restaurants and bars, and a world-class casino. In order to provide guests with more information about hotel facilities, various events, casino services, and easier navigation, The Star Sydney hotel implemented interactive applications that provide all the information in one place.
The Star Sydney is the second largest casino in Australia after the Crown Casino in Melbourne. Overlooking Darling Harbor, The Star Sydney Hotel, owned by Star Entertainment Group, has two gaming floors, eight bars, seven restaurants, 351 hotel rooms and 130 privately owned suites. It also includes the Sydney Lyric Theater with over 2,000 seats and an event center.
In order for The Star Sydney Hotel to easily display the content and various information about the hotel itself, it was necessary to implement interactive applications that would be used by guests.
Deliver a quality visually impressive and at the same time cost-effective solution in the form of interactive applications that will be well noticed and accepted by hotel guests.
The solution had to be equipped with a package of centrally managed multimedia applications, and in the creative part of the project it was necessary to develop visual content and design user interfaces.
With the application of our products: PandoPad® Manager, PandoPad® Applications and PandoPad® FLOOR unit, all interactive services necessary for informing about The Star Sydney hotel have been realized.
Interactive units contain a set of PandoPad applications that provide hotel guests with an overview of various albums, brochures, hotel events, gastronomic offers, etc.
Interactive content is created and managed from the PandoPad® Manager system which is easily accessed via a web browser. It allows you to turn on or off the display of individual PandoPad applications, manage all multilingual content, images, photos, videos, display schedule, etc.
In this example we see the PandoPad® eCard application through which users can select one of the offered images and send a virtual / digital postcard using the integrated e-mail system.
In this example, we see the PandoPad® Local Way Finder application that offers a location map. Locations are entered as 'points of interests' (POI) on stylized maps or floor plans using the PandoPad® Manager. It displays more detailed information or the path from where the PandoPad is located to the selected point.
