In the middle of 2020, the City of Belgrade received a new shopping destination with a size of over 130,000 square meters and which covers more than 130 global and regional brands. In order to show informative digital content in the center space, BEO Shopping Center decided to set multiple digital interactive kiosks which provide various services, from store finding, discovering current discounts, learning about events, etc.
With its innovative concept of architecture that follows current world trends with more open spaces, wide corridors, with lots of natural light and greenery, BEO Shopping Center really stands out among other centers in the region. The newly opened center has combined the expertise and experience that MPC Properties has in managing shopping destinations in the region and has set the standard for upcoming destination project planning. The diverse content of this center is spread over three floors within which visitors can find digital interactive kiosks that also serve as information desks.
BEO Shopping Center wanted to set up digital interactive kiosks in various locations within the center itself, which would be easily visible and help visitors navigate the center and provide useful information.
Deliver a quality, visually impressive, and at the same time cost-effective solution in form of an interactive kiosk that will be well noticed and accepted by visitors.
The solution needed to be equipped with a package of centrally managed multimedia applications and in the creative part of the project it was necessary to study the structure of the shopping center, develop visual content and design user interfaces. Finally, in cooperation with the center, we were provided with the optimal prerequisites for physical installation.
With the application of our products: PandoPad® Manager and PandoPad® Applications, all interactive services necessary for information and advertising have been realized.
A modern multimedia kiosk is easily recognizable in the shopping center and becomes a focal point of information and advertising. The totem unit consists of an interactive touchscreen through which different applications can be displayed.
Withing the user interface, visitors can find informative services such as navigating to individual stores in the center, discovering various coupons via the PandoPad® eCoupon application, scrolling through an official Instagram profile of the center via PandoPad® Social Media application, and informing themselves about current and future events in the center.
Interactive content is created and managed from our PandoPad® Manager system which is easily accessed via a web browser. It allows you to turn on or off the display of individual PandoPad applications, manage all multilingual content, images, photos, videos, display schedule, etc.
In this example, we see the PandoPad® Local Way Finder application, which serves as a display of the shopping center plan and the location of individual stores and services. Locations are entered as 'points of interest' (POIs) on stylized maps or floor plans using the PandoPad® Manager, which displays more detailed information or the path from where the PandoPad is located to the selected point.
